WELCOME 🤗Dear Students and Parents,
Welcome to 8th grade math! It is privilege to teach mathematics at Rio Calaveras Elementary School. TOGETHER we can make this a successful year. To be successful, students will need to attend class each and every day prepared and on time. Students will also need to take notes on the lesson taught and practice by doing assigned homework. There is homework almost every night. I encourage all students to ask questions during class and/or come in outside class for additional help. Please read over the policies and expectations for this class. Expectations for for Math 8, Algebra 1, and Geometry: - Students are expected to be responsible and matured. - Students come to class each and every day on time and prepared. - Students take notes on the lesson taught and ask questions to clarify understanding. - Students practice math skills by doing the assigned homework. - Students follow class rules and other expectations as listed on the class syllabus. Troke Library has free homework tutoring in Math on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 4-6 p.m. This is a program that is on a first-come, first-served basis.
